Meet and Greet

All Good Architects is always eager to sit down with prospective clients and talk about their plans for a new build, addition, or renovation.

Shortly after this meeting, we’ll supply a summary of your requirements and a quote for our services. Transparency in time and cost are paramount to us, and our goal is to provide you with an estimate that’s as accurate as possible.

Feel free to contact us and we’ll schedule a free meeting that suits your schedule best.

Concept Design

At this stage, All Good will start by brushing some broad strokes that reflect our meeting. Here, plans, sketches, and other visual aids will be produced for your review. We encourage your feedback especially during this process, as our goal is to ensure the design is evolving in accordance with your preferences and expectations.

Design Development

Following approval of the concept design, your project progresses to developed design. During this stage, your design is refined and coordinated with a structural engineer on board. Building materials, finishes, layouts, and key building elements are further confirmed to ensure the design is both practical and aligned with the project’s objectives.

We recommend engaging a quantity surveyor at this time if you have a fixed budget. This process will give you a better understanding of the approximate costs associated with your design before construction documentation begins. All Good has worked with several quantity surveyors and is happy to recommend their services.

Construction Documentation

Once the developed design has been finalised, construction documentation will be prepared. These drawings and specifications provide comprehensive information required for construction.

Building Consent Application

All Good then prepares and submits your building consent application to the relevant local authority and addresses any requests for additional information (RFIs) they may have. Our office prides itself on minimising RFIs issued by the corresponding local authority – this is achieved by providing comprehensive drawings, specifications, and coordination prior to submission.

Contract Administration and Site Observation

During construction, we can provide contract administration and site observation services to help ensure the project is executed in accordance with the approved design.

While this final stage is optional, regular site visits and inspections allow us to monitor progress, address issues as they arise, and maintain a high standard of quality throughout the build.
